Road America
Situé dans le Wisconsin aux États-Unis, Road America, est un circuit 6,515 km.
Composé de 14 virages ce circuit accueille notamment aujourd’hui des épreuves de Nascar et de l’American Le Mans Serie.
Ses origines remontent à la fin des années 40 où un groupe de passionnés de la région de Chicago et de Milwaukee décide de chercher des routes publiques pour créer un circuit.
C’est ainsi qu’en juillet 1950 fût planifiée par les membres du SCTA la première course du lac Elkhart.
Ce lieu dédié au sport automobile américain a révélé des pilotes comme Briggs Cunningham ou Carol Shelby.
